Our Canopy tour takes place deep inside the forest, offering an unforgettable experience as you are surrounded by pure and unspoiled nature. Strategically located in La Fortuna de San Carlos, it boasts stunning views of the Arenal Volcano and the valley in the northern area.

After a brief introduction to the tour, you will travel comfortably in a van, where you will embark on a unique and exciting adventure. The Canopy tour features thirteen cables and fourteen platforms, with cable lengths ranging from one hundred meters to 880 meters. Ten of our platforms are nestled in the trees, allowing visitors to experience closer contact with nature while enjoying an adrenaline rush in a safe and healthy manner. If you are lucky, you will be able to see monkeys, sloths, toucans, and other types of wildlife. The entire route of our cables is within the forest, passing over canyons and rivers of clear water, providing the opportunity to see the forest from the heights and almost touch the treetops with your feet. All this makes our Park a magical place for explorers, adventurers, and nature lovers.

At the end of the penultimate cable, you will have an exciting descent from a platform perched on top of a majestic ceiba tree. This tree, aged more than a hundred years and with a total height of sixty-five meters, serves as the point for your descent until you reach the roots of this forest giant. This activity allows you to strengthen your skills and defy gravity. In total, there are forty-five meters of descent, during which you will be safely guided meter by meter. We control from above and below the tree using two different ropes: the main one and the second one for safety.

Those unable to participate in the tour include:

– Children under 6 years of age

– Individuals with heart problems

– Those with osteoporosis

– Individuals who have undergone recent operations

– Those experiencing vertigo

– People with spinal problems

– Individuals unable to wear a helmet due to hair or styling constraints.
